A good external prosthesis can help not just your appearance, but also your balance and posture. Research has shown that women who have had a bi-lateral mastectomy (both breasts removed) and do not wear bras or prostheses may start to slouch within a couple of years post surgery, the physiological change to the body can affect the posture.
For those of you who decide to use a prosthetic, we have made things as easy as possible by keeping things simple. We don’t offer a million external breast prostheses that look identical but have tiny differences (which can only make your decision harder).
Of the many types of external breast prostheses available on the market, our shape is the most traditional. With their versatile triangular shape these prostheses can be worn on either the left or right side and can be rotated on an angle for your best personal fit. They slip easily into any bra and gently mould to the chest wall.
Our external breast prostheses are available in a range of sizes and we are looking at having more sizes available in the future.
